Hi there! My name is Lendsey Ellis and I typically go by "Lendz". I was more than excited to be accepted into this awesome group of talented artists. I have been repainting and sewing for about 10 years now. Although I have no formal training in the world of the "arts"...I like to think the crafty gene was passed down to me as I have several artists in my family!I started repainting barbies and Monster High dolls about 10 years ago when I had my first daughter. At that point in time, I decided to dedicate 100% to painting to make it a full time gig so that I could stay at home and raise her...

I honestly had no real idea of what I was getting myself into at the time, and my talent was very raw at that stage and I wasn't sure I had what it takes....fast forward 10 years and I am finally coming into my own skin and realizing that this is my passion...CREATING! I have come a long way in the last several years, learning to make gorgeous fashions for my dolls and trying my hand at sculpting.
I have always been a HUGE fan of classic horror movies and the eerie side of things...the darker, the better! I love to paint dolls that call to different types of collectors! I have been told before that my work is "too" different...maybe even scary....but I refuse to let that stop me from creating what calls to me most!
I am blown away by the talent I see and have been admiring the work of several artists in this group for many years now....I am always appreciative of learning new techniques and am overwhelmed at the kindness and support that the artists give each other!
I am SO happy to be a part of such an amazing group of talented artists! Thanks so much for having me!
