After Merida saved her mother from a curse she has had to face a lot more obstacles. She refuses marriage, must learn to fight, prove to her clan that she is fit to be the queen and save her three brothers.
She comes across the path of many different characters but at one point she crosses Emma just as she has become the Dark One. The two face off for a will-o'-the-wisp. Emma is still struggling to stay good but Merida does not trust her.
The story of Merida comes from Disney's Brave which wss influenced by Scottish folklore. Merida is portrayed brilliantly by the Amy Manson.
