Mulan meets Prince Phillip after he is freed from a curse. She join him in his travels to help him awaken his Sleeping Beauty, though she secretly loves Phillip. Eventually they do save Aurora, but they were outside the Enchanted Forest when the curse enacted, leaving them stranded in an incomplete world.
Aurora accuses her of being in love with Prince Phillip. Mulan staunchly denies it; claiming that though they fought many battles together, she has no romantic feelings for him. They reach Prince Phillip just in time to witness his demise as the Wraith sucks out his soul and leaves the medallion behind. In mourning, the two women lay Prince Phillip's body on the palace bier. Mulan hands Aurora the bagged medallion for safe-keeping.
The story of Mulan comes from a legendary woman warrior from the Southern and Northern Dynasties (420–589) of China who was originally described in a ballad known as the Ballad of Mulan. It was made into a Disney film. The character is portayed by the very beautiful Jamie Chung.
