"Some of the goodies I've gathered so far: Italian cotton in a fine pinstripe with satin for lining & trim for Young Regina's riding coat, beige spandex for her breeches & fine grained leather for the knee patches. Dark brown or black leather (will probably use black, not pictured) for Rocinante's bridle & reins (hardware for bit, buckles and decorative conchos haven't yet arrived). 1-6 scale 12" Ken shoes will be donating their soles for Regina's paddock boots (perfect fit for 1/4 scale 16" Tonner flat footed ladies) and black leather for the half chaps (aka leggings) & gloves. I also found a pattern that I can adapt, along with an online cosplay costume guide for Regina's costume."
Donna Brinkley
It was no surprise when Donna chose a young Regina who has love in her heart, not only for her horse but for the stable boy. After all, she is a happy character at this point and shares a deep love that Donna also has for horses (don't know about the stable boy - lol).
Donna is not only an amazing doll artist but she is also outstanding at transforming horse figures into realistic, breathing creatures.
Look for more about Donna in the coming weeks!
